A Tibetan Buddhist Prophecy for Peace

A 1,200-year-old Tibetan Buddhist prophecy tells a story of degenerate times when unhinged leaders wield weapons of mass destruction, the climate is on the brink of collapse, and the people of earth are facing other unprecedented challenges. Sound familiar?

The good news is that the story doesn't stop there. The prophecy also outlines specific actions that, when taken, bring about great change, leading us to a brighter future. The measures to bring about change aren't dependent on rulers or political leaders. Instead, the prophecy encourages everyday people to generate positive merit. By acting with wisdom and compassion, we can turn the tide and avert the crisis of these times. The prophecy comes with a timeline, and we must act swiftly to change the future.

The Three Jewels are the unfailing and supreme source of refuge. Pemakara is the sole protector of the teachings and of beings in this degenerate age. The nirmanakaya tertöns arrive when the time is ripe to tame beings in whatever way necessary. Considering their kindness, my faith and homage soar.

Having bowed down to those who compiled all the prophecies from the ocean of all the profound revealed treasures—Yachen Dharma Encampment and Kangsar Tenpo who clearly taught what to do and what to avoid—it would be wise to make efforts in their methods for freeing ourselves from this narrow and dangerous path ahead.

If we take swift action for the benefit of all, we might be able to prevent catastrophic events and create a better future. We must let go of the current consciousness and adopt a new paradigm. This will require us to practice wisdom and compassion, moving from a place of self-grasping to an orientation of interdependence.

GURU RINPOCHE MANTRA & DRUPCHENS*

We are asking everyone to collect as many recitations as possible of the Guru Rinpoche mantra:
Om ah hung benzra guru pema siddhi hung

 

 
Whether you are doing them individually or as part of a group or ceremony; please keep track of the numbers of mantras you complete. You can send your individual recitation numbers via email or submit them via the form below. After adding up the total recited mantras from all participants on a semi-annual basis, we will make offerings and requests to a number of monasteries to organize Drupchens for Repelling Obstacles.

 

 

 
PRAYER & PRAYER FLAGS
We need as many people as possible to the recite a specific prayer called “Stream of Blessings of the Spontaneous Wish-fulfillment" or "Samlhun Jinlab Chargyun Rabsal.”
In addition to asking all the Namchak Sangha members and their friends to recite the prayer, we will also distribute prayer flags to be flown around the world.

STATUES, SCRIPTURES, AND STUPAS

WE ALSO NEED TO BUILD IMAGES AND STRUCTURES OF THE BUDDHA'S BODY, SPEECH, AND MIND. THESE STATUES WILL BE PLACED IN STRATEGICALLY BENEFICIAL PLACES AROUND THE WORLD. RIGHT NOW, WE ARE BUILDING STATUETTES (TSATSAS) OR GURU PADMASAMBHAVA, TARA, AND AS MANY STUPAS AS POSSIBLE.
The statuettes have been built and are awaiting a blessing from Tulku Sangak Rinpoche. To receive a statuette, please make a donation to support this project.
